2017 Grande Cuvée Pinot Noir

Sourced from our estate vineyards, 60% Churchside and 40% South Clos. Destemmed with no crushing then cold soaked for 3-5 days. Fermented in large format oak fermenter. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.

The nose opens with black cherry, cocoa, and wood smoke. Dried herbs, floral tones, and bacon fat leads to spices and forest floor. Dense palate, with fruit and barrel notes complementing one another. Black fruit, spiced plum, Christmas pudding and dried cherry skins lead to beautiful weight and firm tannins with great balancing acidity. The finish is endless, complex and elegant.
